The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa.  Sometimes described as an ‘eighth wonder of the world’, the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year.  You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment.  There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro!

Tour Itinerary

Pick-up time from 8:00 Am
Drive back to Arusha at 6:00 pm

Early in the Morning, you will drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater which takes about 3hrs and half to the Main gate. From the gate you will start to see Baboons and blue monkeys sunning and roaming around. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. When you rich down the crater you will get to huge number of Buffalos, Wildebeest, Zebra Antelopes, Lions, Elephants and also there is a big chance to see Rhinos. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism. There after you will stop Ngoitokitok Spring for Lunch with the nice view of Hippos and a lot of aquatic birds. Late after noon you will drive back to Arusha for overnight or to continue with your next destination.
